Ocotillo Wells OHVRA

The Ocotillo Wells is adjacent to and just south of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. There are several miles of trails to be explored here. The Ocotillo Wells OHVRA is maintained by the State of California, and there are no fees associated (yet).  There is an RV park with facilities, and camping is permitted anywhere within the 40,000 + acre recreation area.  This area is open to all off-road vehicles, including motorcycles, dune buggies, and ATV's.There are several trails to be explored, most of them sandy washes and dunes.  However, there is some good hardcore rock crawling available, as I discovered.
