Employment 7/96 - Present WorldxChange Communications San Diego, Ca.

6/99 to Present - Director of Inter/Intranet Services

In mid '99, the company's xPectations Multi-Level Marketing program really began to take off.  I was tasked with the development of the entire MLM commissioning structure, from the display and disbursement of the commission to the actual calculation and commissioning process.  This project was extremely large in scope, and I was given complete creative control over the group and the design process. The department was moved from MIS to Sales and Marketing, to better align the development effort with it's biggest customer, the marketing team.

2/98 to 6/99 - Manager, Multimedia Communications

As my skills grew and the importance of web-based applications became apparent, I was promoted to manager of the Multimedia Group. My responsibilities included the ongoing design and development of the corporate intranet, corporate internet, and all multimedia sales and marketing presentations.  During this time, I grew the department from just myself to a team of myself and 2 other web developers, and we expanded the intranet to encompass the entire company.  It was during this time that I began development work on the company's xPectations Commissioning System. I also became responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the web servers and associated networking elements. During this time I became one of 5 LAN Administrators for the company, which serves a network containing over 1200 PC's and 100 Servers, running a variety of systems, including Windows NT, Windows 2000 Server, Citrix Metaframe, and AS400.

7/96 to 2/98 - Senior Web Developer

I was responsible for the initial design and implementation of the company's first corporate web presence.  In addition, I conceived and designed the first corporate intranet, including an interactive Human Resources module that is still in use today.
